Break-and-enter in Blenheim

An estimated $5,000 worth of HVAC tools and audio equipment have gone missing following a break-and-enter.

The items were taken from a garage at a Hall Street North address in Blenheim.

Police believe the incident took place sometime in the last three weeks.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Constable Doug Littlewood at douglasl@chatham-kent.ca or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Chatham man charged following disturbance

CK police responded to the reports of a disturbance at a business on Wellington Street West just after noon, on Friday.

Officers said that when they arrived on the scene the suspect escalated the conflict by yelling.

A 31-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with one count of causing a disturbance.

He was held pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested by way of warrant

On Friday evening, police found a man with an outstanding warrant.

The man was arrested on King Street East in Chatham at around 5:15 p.m. He was charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $ 5,000.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
