Fog triggers back-to-back days of bus cancellations in CK

Thick fog has prompted school bus drivers in Chatham-Kent to park their vehicles for a second straight morning.

Buses in all of the Chatham-Kent zones (5, 6, 7, 8) have been cancelled for the morning, but they will be running in the afternoon to take students home from school. Buses in the Sarnia-Lambton zones (1, 2, 3, 4) are still running all day.

Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for much of southwestern Ontario Wednesday morning, noting that visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.

Bus service was also cancelled on Tuesday because of icy roads.
