UPDATE: Missing teen found safe

Chatham-Kent police have called off the search for a 15-year-old who was reported missing from Ridgetown.

Police issued the notice at around 11 p.m. Thursday, but sent out an update shortly after 10 a.m. Friday that the teen had been found and is safe.

Officers are thanking members of the public for their help to find the teen.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
