Wallaceburg homeowner injured during home invasion

Chatham-Kent police are searching for three suspects following a home invasion in Wallaceburg.

Police allege three individuals with weapons forcibly entered a residence early Sunday morning, threatened the homeowner, demanded money, and eventually fled the area.

The victim was treated at the Wallaceburg hospital for minor injuries.

The investigation continues.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
