Break and Enter in Chatham

Chatham-Kent police are looking for whoever stole several items from a barn in the area of Marsh Line in Chatham.

Police said the break and enter happened sometime overnight on Monday when someone took a riding lawnmower, a gas generator, an air compressor, and alcohol.

The investigation continues and anyone with information regarding this break-in is being asked to contact Constable Jake Reed at jaker@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600. Anonymous callers can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Trio Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

A man and two women from Chatham who had warrants for their arrest have been apprehended.

Police reported a 29-year-old Chatham female was located by police in the area of King Street in Chatham and was arrested on Monday.

Another 29-year-old Chatham woman was located by police on Monday in the area of Tweedsmuir Avenue in Chatham and was arrested.

A 32-year-old man from Chatham was also found by officers in the area of Sheldon Avenue and Cornhill Street in Chatham on Monday and was also apprehended.

The reasons for the outstanding arrest warrants have not been released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
