Another drug bust at 'Fun Guyz' in downtown Chatham

Chatham-Kent police have raided a downtown Chatham business again.

Police said a second search warrant was executed on Friday at Fun Guyz on King Street West in Chatham as part of an ongoing investigation.

Officers seized over 207 packages of illegal magic mushrooms worth over $12,000. On Wednesday, more than 370 packages of magic mushrooms worth over $20,000 were seized.

The seized illicit drugs will undergo analysis as the investigation progresses.

Police noted that the possession, sale, and production of magic mushrooms are illegal.

"The Chatham-Kent Police and our community remain committed to actively combatting unlawful businesses," said police. "We will continue to work diligently to maintain the safety and well-being of our community."

The store opened five days ago.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
