CK Public Health looking for volunteer board members

Chatham-Kent Public Health (CKPH) is looking for volunteers to join the Board of Health.

According to the municipality, volunteer citizen appointees will help shape the organization's strategic direction and growth and impact the well-being of the Chatham-Kent community.

"Being a member of the Board of Health offers a rewarding experience where volunteers can contribute their expertise, have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals, engage in strategic decision-making, and drive positive change in the community," a release from CKPH said.

Candidates must be over the age of 18 and either own or be a tenant of property in Chatham-Kent.

Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on August 8, 2024 and can be found here.

The recruitment is for a four-year term starting January 1, 2025.
