It was a busy 24 hours for the Chatham-Kent Police Service. Officers responded to 163 calls for service arresting three people, one of which was on an outstanding warrant.

Parties arrested for public intoxication

A 39-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication on Thames St. in Chatham.

According to police, officers responded to a call just after 9:00 p.m. about a disturbance. They located the intoxicated man in the common area of the apartment building.

The individual was arrested and held until sober.

In another incident on Sunday morning, police responded to an intoxicated male in the backyard of a Chatham home.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
