Crash on Highway 401 leaves one person in life-threatening condition

Two individuals are in hospital after their car rolled over on Highway 401.

Emergency crews responded to the collision involving a passenger vehicle crossing the centre median of the 401 near Duart Road in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent at around 7:20 a.m.

The two occupants of the vehicle were transported to hospital. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries, while the passenger has non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision.

The OPP and West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team continue to investigate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
