Naked man arrested in Chatham

A 31-year-old Chatham man spent some time sobering up in Chatham-Kent police custody Wednesday night after he was seen naked in public.

Police said they arrested him on Delaware Avenue at around 8 p.m. Wednesday after getting some reports from the public and believed he was under the influence of an intoxicating substance.

He was taken to police headquarters and was held there until he sobered up, then released with conditions and a future court date.

He is charged with committing an indecent act and indecent exhibition.

Chatham man arrested on DNA warrant

Chatham-Kent police have caught up with a Chatham man who was wanted on a DNA warrant.

Officers said they found him on Arnold Street in Chatham just before 6 a.m. Thursday and arrested him.

He was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
