UPDATE: Chatham magic mushroom shop busted for a fourth time

A magic mushroom shop in Chatham has been busted again.

Chatham-Kent police confirm to CK News Today the Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at the new Fun Guyz location on St. Clair Street in Chatham on Friday afternoon and seized more merchandise, including signage.

Police said officers seized over 1,000 grams of psilocybin valued at over $14,000.

Signage was also removed from the building that promoted the illegal sale of psilocybin, according to police.

The shop originally popped up in downtown Chatham in May, but moved out of that location in July after three police raids.

Police promised to keep a close eye on the operation in July after confiscating thousands of dollars worth of illegal products during each search and seizure.

Police remind the public that the possession, sale, and production of magic mushrooms are illegal in Canada.
