No match has been found for a Chatham teen in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant.
Two "Get Swabbed!" events were held for 16-year-old Ethan Hunter in the summer, but the results weren't as successful as the events themselves.
Hunter has a rare form of cancer, lymphoblastic lymphoma T-cell leukemia, for which he was in remission until recently. Now, he needs a donor match and time is running short.
To help the teen out, the Katelyn Bedard Bone Marrow Association will host another Get Swabbed! Event on Tuesday, October 1. It will be at the St. Clair College Thames Campus (1001 Grand Avenue West) at the Healthplex Centre from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Registrants must be between the ages of 17-35 years old.
It takes very little time to register and get swabbed.
