CK police briefs - Sunday, October 6, 2024

Break and enter

Officers responded to business addresses on Indian Creek Road in Chatham in response to calls for multiple break and enters.

Investigation revealed the same suspect was involved in each incident.

A 55-year-old Chatham man was identified and arrested. He was transported to police headquarters and lodged for a bail hearing.

Warrant arrest

Chatham-Kent police located a 26-year-old Sarnia man at a business on Richmond Street in Chatham. He was arrested for outstanding warrants for recent thefts and robberies. He was held for a bail hearing.

Stolen Vehicle

Police are reporting a stolen vehicle from residence on Croton Line.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. Saturday an unknown suspect(s) stole a 2016 GMC pickup truck with Ontario licence plate 7162FS. Police said it was taken with a 34-foot livestock trailer.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
