Chatham-Kent closures on Remembrance Day

There will be several closures across Chatham-Kent on Monday as people pause to pay tribute to veterans and current members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Most municipal offices and services will be closed on November 11. Service Ontario locations in Chatham and Dresden will also be shut down for the day.

CK Public Health will be closed for Remembrance Day. Due to the Public Health lab schedule, acceptance of well water samples will pause at 11 a.m. on Friday until regular office hours resume on Tuesday, November 12.

Some healthcare services offered at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance's (CKHA) Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will be altered on Monday.

Hemodialysis Care and Emergency Departments will be open, all other departments will be closed except in the case of scheduled appointments.

Landfills, Leaf and Yard Depots, and Transfer Stations will be open and garbage and recycling pickup will not be affected.

Ride CK Transit services will also be operating as normal.

All arenas, the Gable Rees Rotary Pool in Blenheim, and the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool will be open for regular hours on Monday.

Libraries, theatres, museums, and galleries will be closed.
