Driver uninjured after crashing into LCBO

A crash into the side of a liquor store in Blenheim has resulted in plenty of damage, but no charges.

According to police, a woman crashed her vehicle into the LCBO on Marlborough Street just before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

No injuries were reported and none of the store's product was lost, police said.

Damages to the building are estimated at $100,000. Police added that an engineer from the municipality was sent to the LCBO to assess any structural damage.

No charges were laid, as the incident took place on private property.

Police arrest two wanted women

CK police have crossed a few more names off of their wanted list.

Police said that a 31-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested during a residence check.

Shortly after 11 a.m. on Tuesday, officers visited a home on Westcourt Boulevard in Wallaceburg and found a woman wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

The woman was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was held for bail.

Police also arrested a 30-year-old woman in Chatham less than an hour later.

According to police, a woman known to have outstanding warrants for theft, possession, and failing to comply with a release order was spotted on the Third Street Bridge.

Officers arrested the woman and held her at police headquarters pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
