Woman charged with mischief

A 34-year-old woman has been arrested after Chatham-Kent police say she caused a disturbance at a business.

Officers were called at around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday to St. Clair Street in Chatham, on a report of a disturbance.

Police learned that the woman was told by employees to leave and that the female responded by throwing a pot of coffee.

The Chatham woman has been charged with mischief. She was held pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
