Man arrested for impaired driving

One man was arrested for impaired driving following a driving complaint to police Saturday.

Officers were called at 12 p.m. where the suspect vehicle was located at a local establishment and the driver was found to be intoxicated by alcohol.

He was identified as a 61-year-old Chatham man and was transported to police headquarters.

Police said he was found to be in excess over the legal limit and was charged with over 80. The driver was released when sober with a future court date.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
