Two students suffer minor injuries after school bus crash west of Chatham

Only minor injuries are being reported after a crash involving a school bus and a tractor on Tecumseh Line just west of Chatham.

Chatham-Kent police said emergency crews were called to the scene between Poppe Road and Dauphin Road early Wednesday morning.

Police said two students on the bus were treated by EMS for "minor physical injuries," adding that the bus was towed from the scene.

There is no word yet on whether charges will be laid.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
