CK police briefs -- Wednesday, January 8, 2025

A man with what police call ongoing issues at a Chatham discount retail store has been charged with mischief.

Chatham-Kent police said a 31-year-old male was arrested on Tuesday for mischief in relation to three calls for trespassing at a discount retail store on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.

Police noted the suspect was held for bail under a warrant for failing to attend court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
