Threatening voicemail prompts police presence at Entegrus' CK office

People driving around Entegrus' head office in Chatham Monday afternoon may have noticed a considerable police presence.

According to the electric utility company, an employee received a threatening voicemail which prompted them to call the authorities.

"The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded swiftly and professionally, ensuring the safety of everyone on-site," read a statement from Entegrus.

What exactly was said in the voicemail was not shared by Entegrus.

CK News Today has reached out to CK police, but has not received a response at this time.
