Snow, messy roads prompt school bus cancellations in CK

The snow and slushy roads across Chatham-Kent have prompted local school bus officials to pull their vehicles from the road on Thursday.

School bus service across Chatham-Kent is cancelled for the day, but most schools are still open.

Walpole Island Elementary School is completely closed for the day and so is Chatham Christian School

Classes at St. Clair College's Chatham Campus classes will be cancelled until 10 a.m. Thursday.

If you are out on the road, you should slow down and make sure you give yourself lots of braking distance.
