Korean fish cakes being recalled

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is recalling frozen Korean fish cakes.

Multiple products by Hansang, sold across the country, may include eggs despite not being mentioned on the labels.

The impacted products are Assorted Fish Cake with Katsuobushi Soup Stock (960g), Frozen Fried Fish Cake (328g), Frozen Fried Fish Cake & Rice Cake (404g), and Mala Flavour Frozen Fried Fish Cake (345g).

Anyone with these products can either throw them out or return them to the store or business they purchased it from.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
