Several Habibi's Mediterranean products being recalled

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is recalling several Habibi’s Mediterranean products.

The affected items include peanuts but don't say so on the label. The products were mainly sold in Alberta and British Columbia with the possibility of other provinces and territories.

The specific products are Baba Ganoush Smoked Eggplant Dip (200g), Hummus Basil & Garlic (240g and 450g), Hummus Beirut Style Za’atar Cumin (240g), Hummus Fire Roasted Red Pepper (240g and 450g), Hummus Kalamata Olive Tapenade (240g), Hummus Lebanese Style (240g and 450g), and Hummus Sriracha Jalapeno (200g).

Anyone with these products can either throw them out or return them to the store or business they purchased it from.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
