UPDATE: Early morning power outage hits Chatham

The lights should be back on for all of the Entegrus customers affected by an outage earlier Wednesday morning.

At the peak of the outage, at around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, about 4,800 customers were affected but Entegrus says the lights should be back on.

If you're still experiencing a power outage, you should give the Entegrus office a call at 1-866-804-7325.

The power was knocked out suddenly at around 6:30 a.m. for thousands of Entegrus customers.

As of 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Entegrus was reporting an outage affecting about 4,400 of its customers with no word on what caused the outage and no estimated restoration time.

By 7 a.m., the outage had been reduced to 1,400 customers on the northwest side of Chatham.

Hydro One also reported a brief service disruption Tuesday morning affecting about 2,000 of its customers at the peak of the outage.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
