New measles exposure spot in Blenheim

A new measles exposure site has popped up in Blenheim.

Anyone who visited the community's Chatham-Kent Family Health Team location on April 14 from 1:25 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. should make sure they and anyone they've come in contact with are vaccinated. If you're not vaccinated, it's recommended you call the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit at 519-352-7270 ext. 5902.

You should also monitor for symptoms for up to 21 days from when you may have been exposed.

This new exposure site comes a day after the Health Unit announced three locations in Chatham. A complete list of possible measles exposure sites in Chatham-Kent can be found on the Health Unit's website.
