Police appealing for witnesses after crash west of Chatham

If you saw a two-vehicle crash on Riverview Drive just outside of Chatham last week Thursday, Chatham-Kent police would still like to hear from you.

CK police said they were called to the scene between Dillon Road and Bloomfield Road shortly after 12:30 p.m. on April 17.

A 57-year-old Chatham woman and a 64-year-old woman from Dover Township were both taken to the hospital for treatment of what were considered non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The damage from the collision was estimated at $95,000.

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone police are looking to speak with anyone who either witnessed the crash or has information on the circumstances leading up to the collision.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
