Chatham-Kent police say four people face charges after officers seized more than $50,000 in illicit drugs in Chatham.
On Wednesday afternoon, police reported officers searched a home and a vehicle in Chatham last Thursday night and seized the following items:
258 grams of fentanyl
11 grams of methamphetamine
Packaging material
Digital Scales
Debt List
3 BB handguns that resemble real firearms
1 BB rifle
A significant amount of Canadian currency
CK police noted the estimated street value of the controlled substances is approximately $52,000.
A 49-year-old woman from Chatham was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
A 41-year-old man from Chatham was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a firearm contrary to a court order, and failing to comply with court orders.
A 46-year-old man from Chatham was also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a firearm contrary to a court order.
A 43-year-old Chatham man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a firearm contrary to a court order.
All accused parties have been held in custody pending bail hearings, said police.
