One person airlifted to hospital in Lambton Line crash

Provincial police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Dawn-Euphemia that sent one person to the hospital via Ornge air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

Lambton OPP said the collision involved a tractor-trailer and a farm tractor on Lambton Line, east of Pantry School Road, at 3:43 p.m. on Thursday.

The West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team was at the scene to help Lambton OPP with the investigation.

Lambton Line was closed between Pantry School Road and Gould Road for several hours and reopened shortly before 2:20 a.m. on Friday.
