CK rollover leads to careless driving charge

A careless driving charge has been laid against a 25-year-old driver following a single vehicle rollover north of Chatham.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported on Tuesday the charge stemmed from a rollover on St. Clair Road near Brook Line in Chatham-Kent on Monday afternoon.

Police said the driver from Whitby was taken to hospital as a precaution.

St. Clair Road was closed for approximately four hours between Claymore Line and St. Andrews Line as crews removed the vehicle from the deep ditch, said the OPP.
