Environment Canada issues heat warnings across southern Ontario

Heat warnings are being issued across Ontario.

This includes Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Lambton County, and across midwestern Ontario.

According to Environment Canada, daytime highs are expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius over the next few days.

With the humidity, the temperature could feel as high as 46 degrees Celsius.

Overnight lows will remain high, averaging between 22 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius.

Environment Canada is urging everyone to limit their time outside.

Anyone who has to work outside should monitor for symptoms of heat stroke. They include headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine, and intense fatigue.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
