Pharmaceutical company urging people to check pills after medication mistake

Nora Pharma is recalling several bottles of its NRA-Amlodipine, a blood pressure medication.

The company is doing this as some of its 5mg tablet bottles may include the wrong medication.

Each pill should be white or off white and octagonal.

Any bottle that has medication that's not the right colour or shape should be returned to the pharmacy it was bought from. The pharmacy will then provide a replacement.

Anyone experiencing dizziness, slow heartbeats, or unusually low blood pressure should contact their health care professional or 911.
