Saginaw, Windsor to play preseason game in Chatham

The upcoming preseason for both the Windsor Spitfires and Saginaw Spirit includes a stop in Chatham.

The two teams will faceoff at the Chatham Memorial Arena on September 7, 2025.

This is the first time the Spirit will visit Chatham for a game since the team formed an affiliation with the Chatham Maroons. This affiliation has seen several former Maroons players play in Saginaw, including goaltender Kaleb Papineau who started all five playoff games for the Spirit this past season.

The Saginaw Spirit have not shared its full preseason schedule. The Spitfires have, highlighted by the game in Chatham and two others in Lakeshore and LaSalle on September 13 and 14, respectively.
