Chatham library to hold dental plan info session

Affordable dental care is easier to come by with the implementation of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), but it can be difficult to navigate.

An information session about the federal program, as well as Canada Disability Benefits, will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, at the Chatham library (120 Queen Street).

It will cover:

• eligibility criteria

• how to apply or renew

• dental services covered

• amount covered

• how to find a dentist using CDCP

The session is being held in partnership between the Chatham-Kent Public Library and Service Canada.

A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation in the board room of the Chatham library.

Registration is required to attend. You can register by phone at 519-354-2940 or online at cklibrary@chatham-kent.ca.
