Stunt Driving Charge

Driving almost twice over the speed limit has led to a stunt driving charge for a 46-year-old man from North York.

Chatham-Kent police alleged the suspect was driving 135 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone on Wheatley Road late Thursday night.

Chatham-Kent police said the vehicle was impounded for 14 days and the driver’s license was suspended for 30 days.

Stolen Vehicle Arrest

A 37-year-old Dresden man is facing charges after police alleged he was found with a stolen vehicle.

Chatham-Kent police said he was arrested on North Street in Dresden on Thursday morning on charges of possession property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a probation order.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
