Walpole woman charged with uttering threats

A 28-year-old Walpole woman has been charged after allegedly threatening to hurt another woman.

CK police started an investigation back in March after a 30-year-old Wallaceburg woman reported that she had received threatening messages.

Police didn't share what was said, only that the messages involved threatening communication.

A warrant was issued, and police arrested a woman on Monday.

She faces one count of uttering threats to cause bodily harm.

The woman has been released from police custody with a future court date.
