Intimate Partner Violence Arrest

A domestic dispute in Chatham has led to another arrest.

Chatham-Kent police reported a 24-year-old man was charged with two counts of mischief following property damage at a home in Chatham.

Police alleged an argument took place between a 24-year-old woman from Chatham and the accused on Tuesday evening.

The victim left the residence; however, when she returned, the interior of the home and her personal property were damaged.

Theft Arrest

A 35-year-old woman from Wallaceburg has been charged with theft after allegations that she stole several items from a retail store in Wallaceburg last month.

Chatham-Kent police alleged the suspect entered the business in July and began removing merchandise from the shelves and placing it into a bag before leaving the store.

She was arrested on James Street in Wallaceburg on Tuesday night after officers saw surveillance footage.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
