Barnstormers' strikeouts lead to donation for Special Olympics CK

Special Olympics Chatham-Kent is getting $1,000 thanks to the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers.

At the beginning of the Barnstormers' season, Enyos Pest Advisors (Enyos) pledged to donate $3 for every strikeout pitchers had during home games.

There was a total of 186 strikeouts, resulting in a $558 donation.

However, Enyos decided to increase the donation to $1,000, bringing the total given per strikeout to around $5.38.

The company plans to do the strikeout donation again during the Barnstormers' next season.
