The Municipality of Chatham-Kent (CK) is accepting applications for a new steering committee aimed at updating its cultural plan.
This plan is expected to shape the future of arts, culture, heritage, and creative life in the municipality.
In a statement, the municipality said committee members will help shape the priorities, goals, and strategies that will guide cultural development over the next decade.
“We welcome applications from individuals, community-based organizations, and businesses, so that the Cultural Plan represents a wide range of voices and experiences,” said Audrey Ansell, Director of Community Culture and Connections.
Members of the steering committee will also be responsible for attending and participating in regular meetings, sharing ideas and experiences relating to culture and community, identifying cultural priorities, challenges, and opportunities, and more.
Applications can be submitted online, with the deadline being September 12, 2025.
