Teens arrested in Sarnia for Chatham break-in

Two teens have been charged after allegedly stealing several items from a Chatham business.

On Wednesday, Chatham-Kent (CK) police were called to a property on St. Clair Street.

It was reported that multiple electronic items, including an e-bike, were stolen.

Through an investigation, police were able to find several items at a home in Chatham. Around $5,000 worth of items have since been recovered and given back to the business. It's unclear whether any items are still missing.

The investigation then led to Sarnia, where police arrested a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old. They've since been charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.

Both have been released from police custody with a future court date.
