Two arrested in Chatham for fight over hockey cards

Chatham-Kent (CK) police have arrested two people who got into a fight over hockey cards.

At around 3 p.m. on Monday, officers were called to Merritt Avenue over an argument between a 20-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy.

According to police, the two were discussing hockey cards when they began fighting each other.

Each was arrested and charged with assault. Both have since been released from custody with a future court date.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
