The Blenheim branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library will be closed while the inside is given a fresh coat of paint.

The work is scheduled for October 28 to November 12.

"We’re excited to give the library a fresh look and appreciate everyone’s patience," read a statement from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

A temporary library depot will be opened down the hall from the main entrance so that people can still pick up holds, browse a limited selection of books, use photocopying services, and more.

Public computers will not be available during the closure.
