Family dispute in Wallaceburg turns dicey

A man from Chatham-Kent is facing weapons charges following a family dispute in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent police alleged the 20-year-old accused was arguing with a 48-year-old man from Wallaceburg on Wednesday morning at a home on Wellington Street when he used a weapon and threatened the older individual.

The suspect was later arrested and charged with uttering death threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and assault with a weapon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
