Video projection show back to honour Thamesville veterans

The community of Thamesville is once again recognizing its veterans in a unique way.

Starting on November 1 and going until Remembrance Day on November 11, a video projection show will show photos and ranks of 61 servicemen and women who fought in World War 1, World War 2, the Korean War, Afghanistan, and in peacekeeping missions.

The video, created by Darren Carther, will also highlight the significance of the poppy and why we commemorate Remembrance Day.

It will air nightly at 7 p.m., with the last showing happening on November 11.

This is the second straight year that the video projection show has been shown in Thamesville.
