Assault in Wallaceburg

A 21-year-old man from Wallaceburg has been charged after allegedly using a beer can as a weapon against his partner.

Just before 7 p.m. on Monday, Chatham-Kent (CK) police were called to a parking lot in Wallaceburg regarding a heated argument between a man and a woman.

According to police, the man threw a beer can at the woman during the fight.

He was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.

He's since been released from custody with a future court date.

Threats Made

A 39-year-old woman has been charged for allegedly uttering threats.

The incident happened on November 12 at a home on Wedgewood Avenue in Chatham.

Police claim the suspect threatened another woman before fleeing.

An arrest warrant was issued, and police arrested her on Monday.

She's since been released from custody with a future court date.

Wanted Man Arrested

CK police have arrested a wanted man who allegedly threatened his partner.

Back on November 14, a 30-year-old woman made a report to police that her partner had threatened her.

Video surveillance reviewed by officers reportedly showed the suspect damaging the victim's vehicle.

An arrest warrant was issued, with the man turning himself in on Monday.

He's been charged with uttering threats and mischief.

He's since been released from custody with a future court date.
