Chatham restaurant named one of Canada's best

One of Canada's best restaurants is in Chatham.

Centro Wood Fired Kitchen was recently named as one of OpenTable's Top 100 restaurants in the country.

The online restaurant-reservation service based its rankings on reviews, ratings, and reservations.

"We are incredibly surprised and deeply honoured to receive this recognition," said Dominique Bonnot, Co-owner of Centro Wood Fired Kitchen.

Centro Wood Fired Kitchen is one of four restaurants in Southwestern Ontario to make the Top 100. The other three are Take Five Bistro in Windsor, Papi's in London, and Cintro on Wellington in London.

"This recognition isn't just for us; it’s a celebration of the vital role that family-operated restaurants play in towns and cities across Canada, especially in smaller communities like ours," added Bonnot.

Centro Wood Fired Kitchen is also one of just two restaurants to get a perfect five-star rating. This was based on roughly 100 reviews recently made by customers.

The only other restaurant to get a perfect five-star review was The Springfield in Whitby.
