Chatham-Kent (CK) police have arrested a wanted man after he barricaded himself in a home for 12 hours.
On Saturday, officers responded to Sandys Street in Chatham.
Police contained the area, closing the street from Cornhill Street to McNaughton Avenue West at roughly 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, after the man barricaded himself inside a home.
Officers began crisis negotiations, attempting to de-escalate the situation.
After about 12 hours, the 30-year-old man was arrested.
CK police have not disclosed what the man was wanted for.
