Ridgetown driver charged in Hwy. 401 crash

A Ridgetown man has been charged with impaired driving following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 401 just east of London.

On Friday afternoon, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported a 31-year-old man from Ridgetown was charged after a crash involving a car and a transport truck on Highway 401 at Dorchester Road on Sunday.

The OPP said no injuries were reported.

The OPP reminds the public that if they see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver, they should contact them at 1-888-310-1122 or the nearest police service immediately.

Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where they may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
