Motorcyclist killed in North Buxton collision

A collision in North Buxton has claimed the life of a motorcyclist.

Chatham-Kent police reported the 31-year-old motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries when the motorcycle and a vehicle collided at the intersection of A.D. Shadd Road and 9th Line in the town of North Buxton on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the man driving the vehicle was not hurt.

Police are extending their "deepest sympathies" to the family and friends of the deceased rider during this difficult time.

Police noted the investigation continues and asks anyone who witnessed the collision or has information that may assist investigators to contact Constable Joel Rehill at 519-355-1092, [email protected], or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
