The alert was put into effect at around 2 p.m. on Sunday and is lasted until around 9 p.m. on Sunday evening.
The alert was in effect for Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, and Windsor-Essex.
Participants will gather at Mike Weir Park on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the walk, either 2.5 kilometres or five km.
