A Charing Cross man has been charged after a two-vehicle collision in rural Chatham-Kent (CK).
At around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, CK police were called to Longwoods Road for a crash.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
According to police, one officer smelled alcohol when talking with one of the drivers.
He was arrested and brought back to police headquarters to provide a breath sample, which he reportedly failed.
The man was ultimately charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired.
He's since been released from police custody with conditions and a future court date.
